Q. How do I order a gift basket?

Q. Can you handle large corporate orders?
A. Absolutely!
Q. Can I request a custom gift basket?
A. Yes! We’re delighted to create a gift basket that suits your particular needs and budget. We carry
a large selection of items that are shown on the web site. Just give us a call at 1.724.643.1815 and we’ll
be happy to create the perfect gift for you.
Q. Can I substitute an item in the basket?
A. Of course you can. We will be happy to substitute particular products at your request. To request
a substitution, please call our office at 1.724.643.1815.
Q. Will the basket that I order look exactly like the one on the web-site?
A. Not necessarily. In the event that we are out of a particular item, we will replace it with an item of
equal or greater value and which is similar in nature without compromising the overall design, theme,
color and quality of the gift basket. We also reserve the right to substitute perishable products (such
as chocolates) in warm weather months. Furthermore, enhancements and bows will vary according to
season.
Q. What payment options are available?
A. We accept Visa and MasterCard. You can also pay by Money Order or personal/company check.
Please note that personal checks will require a 14-day processing time before shipment. Checks should
be made payable to “Elegant Expressions Gift Baskets”. As a special convenience for corporate
customers, we offer invoicing on all pre-approved accounts. Terms are net 30 days from date of
shipment. Any invoice past due by 60 days will incur a $25 late fee.
Q. Are Credit Card Transactions On this site safe?
A. Completely! Our site servers use current Internet security technology to encrypt order information
through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
Q. What happens if I give you the wrong address?
A. That depends. If your basket has been shipped, we can not change the address or cancel the
order. If we are delivering your basket within the local delivery area, we MAY be able to change it. If
you discover that you have made such an error, contact us immediately.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Yes, we offer local delivery. Please call 1.724.643.1815 for more information. Local hand delivery
charges start at $8.00. Please refer to our Shipping/Delivery Policy for more detailed information.
Q. Can I ship my basket anywhere?
A. Almost anywhere. We can ship your basket anywhere within the continental United States. At the
present time, we cannot ship to PO Boxes, APO - FPO Boxes or foreign addresses. We also do not ship
to hospitals.
Q. Can I send a gift to patient in a hospital?
A. We do not accept orders for gifts to be shipped to patients in hospitals. We recommend that you
send your gift selection to the recipient’s home address or to a close friend or family member.
However, we offer hand delivery of gift baskets to some local hospitals. Please call for more details.
Q. How much does shipping cost?
A. Shipping costs vary based upon gift, location, and shipping option. Please see the Shipping/Delivery
Policy for more detailed information.
Q. Do you have a “real store” where I can come see your gift baskets?
A. No. Elegant Expressions Gift Baskets is strictly an online and telephone order gift basket store.
However, if you are a business and would like to schedule an appointment to discuss your corporate
gifting needs, we will gladly work with your schedule to determine a time where we can discuss what
we can offer your company.
Q. What are your hours of operation?
A. Our web-site is available 24 hours a day. You can reach us by telephone or email Monday through
Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are closed on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and
Christmas Day.

Q. Do you collect sales tax?
A. No. Food is a tax exempt item in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Q. When is my credit card charged?
A. Your credit card is charged when we have received and reviewed your order. We will not ship your
gift basket until payment has been confirmed.
Q. Will you send me a receipt?
A. If you order online, a Sales Receipt will be emailed to you when your gift is shipped. If you order by
phone, you may request an invoice be mailed to you. We do not include any invoices or packing slips
on gift orders.
Q. How will I know if you actually shipped my order?
A. You will first receive an order confirmation email with all the details of the order you placed with
us. We will also send you a shipment confirmation email that includes the date your order shipped,
which shipper we used, a tracking number if available, and instructions on how to track your order.
Q. Do you offer any type of guarantee?
A. Your satisfaction is always 100% guaranteed. Our customers are very important to us. We pride
